I liked doing this one. The pebble was again a perfect shape to etch this man. He does look a bit lost, pondering his next move. I have wished him all the luck. Hope he makes the right choice.
Faces on pebbles
I have always loved painting on pebbles and rocks. "Faces on pebbles" is the result of the perfect stone that landed in my hand recently. I had been thinking of doing a series of these. And this one was the first one. It is SOLD now. But the series will continue, depending on the right pebble.
Peacock on pebble
Peacock on pebble stone. This is now SOLD.
Captivated
The poor, little creature is stuck on the table. He cannot move, lest someone notices him. SOLD
The Night Watchman
The owl is fascinating subject for many artists. I am no exception. And I keep on painting a few in different mediums. Here is a pleasant one.
The Ageing Tiger
You can't always remain young and handsome. This one on pebble is ageing fast. Now SOLD.
A Treasure trove
There is nothing like the joy of colouring natural stones to life. I constantly look for shapes of life in pebbles. Some of these are no longer with me. They have been cherry picked by friends and connoisseurs of art for their tables at homes and offices.
My Brooding Pet Dog
My lovely, litle pet dog. He still sits on the sofa next to me. Some have found him to be too philosophically endowed to be the true pet, as he just sits and stares across the timeless space. But I love him for what he is. A fine, unchanging pet for life.
